Die Gemeinde Lichte, die f\u00fcr ihre Porzellanmanufakturen bekannt ist, liegt im s\u00fcdlichen Th\u00fcringer Wald im Kreis Saalfeld-Rudolstadt. Mit seinen 10 B\u00f6gen ist das Viadukt das Wahrzeichen der Gemeinde, es wurde Ende des 19. Jahrhunderts erbaut, als die Gemeinde Eisenbahnanschluss erhielt. Im Jahr 2006 wurde allerdings der Streckenabschnitt zwischen Ernstthal und Probstzella, der \u00fcber dieses Viadukt f\u00fchrte, stillgelegt.
