Sie wurden erstmals 1981 auf dem Weihnachtsmarkt ausgestellt. Auftrag und Finanzierung \u00fcbernahmen die Aussteller des Marktes. Bis 1988 wurde die urspr\u00fcngliche Gruppe um die Heiligen Drei K\u00f6nige, Hirten, einen Engel und Tiere erweitert.
