Es wird gepr\u00e4gt durch die zum Teil recht alten Stadth\u00e4user in der <strong>Uferstra\u00dfe<\/strong> und der Gr\u00fcnanlage zum Rhein hin. Zwischen der Uferstra\u00dfe und der Gr\u00fcnanlage befinden sich Reste der Stadtbefestigung aus dem 19. Jahrhundert, die nach der Begradigung des Rheins erbaut wurde.\u00a0 Es sind die <strong>Fort-Malakoff-Caponniere<\/strong>, das <strong>Templertor<\/strong>, das <strong>Holztor<\/strong> und das <strong>Weintor<\/strong>. In der Gr\u00fcnanlage befinden sich Spielm\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Kinder sowie einige Skulpturen, von K\u00fcnstlern, die einen Bezug zu Mainz haben bzw. hatten.
