Die Fotos dieser Reise stammen noch ein wenig aus der Pionierzeit der Digitalfotografie und haben wohl deshalb auch noch nicht den Einzug in dieses Blog geschafft. Aber ich denke dass es manchmal gut ist, in \u00e4lteren Fotoarchiven zu st\u00f6bern um verborgene fotografische Sch\u00e4tze zu heben. Damals waren wir mit einer Gruppe eines internationalen Fotoforums in Istrien. Ganz ohne Gruppenzwang konnte hier jeder nach seinem Gusto auf Entdeckungstour gehen, und so haben uns Freunde an die Plitvicer Seen mitgenommen, die mir bis dahin auch noch kein Begriff waren. Er liegt an der Grenze zu Bosnien-Herzegowina. Das Gebiet mit seinen kaskadenf\u00f6rmig angeordneten Seen und Wasserf\u00e4llen ist knapp 300 Quadratkilometer gro\u00df. Entstanden ist diese besondere Landschaft durch den Zusammenfluss mehrerer kleiner Fl\u00fcsse sowie zahlreicher unterirdischer Zufl\u00fcsse. Im Jahr 1949 wurde der <strong>Nationalpark<\/strong> gegr\u00fcndet und seit 1979 sind die Plitvicer Seen eines der ersten <strong>Naturdenkm\u00e4ler<\/strong> der <strong>Unesco<\/strong>.
