Bei der Suche nach Informationen half dankenswerterweise mal wieder Wikipedia weiter:<\/p>\n<p><em>Zum 200. Jahrestag der Gr\u00fcndung der Provinz Rheinhessen im Jahr 1816 wurde dieser aus drei Steinbl\u00f6cken bestehende Torbogen mit einem Gesamtgewicht von 18 Tonnen seiner Bestimmung \u00fcbergeben. Hergestellt und finanziert wurde das <strong>Rheinhessentor<\/strong> von Mitgliedsbetrieben der Steinmetz- und Steinbildhauer-Innung Rheinhessen.\u00a0In die S\u00e4ulen sind die Wappen der Stadt Nieder-Olm und ihrer Partnerst\u00e4dte eingemei\u00dfelt sowie Portr\u00e4ts der rheinhessischen Literaten Carl Zuckmayer, Anna Seghers und\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">Wilhelm\u00a0<\/span>Holzamer<span style=\"font-size: 1rem;\">.\u00a0Rheinhessen selbst wird durch eine Landkarte und eine stilisierte Besitzergreifungsurkunde symbolisiert.
