Am \u00f6stlichen Ende geh\u00f6ren die rheinhessischen Gemeinden Monsheim, M\u00f6lsheim und Wachenheim (Kreis Alzey-Worms) dazu, im Westen die Gemeinden Harxheim, Zell, Niefernheim, Einselthum, Albisheim und Marnheim (Donnersbergkreis). Somit befindet sich\u00a0das Zellertal auf der Grenze der Rheinland-Pf\u00e4lzischen Regionen <strong>Rheinhessen<\/strong> und <strong>Pfalz<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_24166\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-24166\" style=\"width: 480px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/georg-dahlhoff.de\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/201605084245.jpg?ssl=1\"><img data-recalc-dims=\"1\" loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-large wp-image-24166\" src=\"https:\/\/i0.wp.com\/georg-dahlhoff.de\/wp\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/201605084245.jpg?resize=480%2C320&#038;ssl=1\" alt=\"Zellertaler Ehrenmahl - Bild Nr. 201605084245\" width=\"480\" height=\"320\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-24166\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Zellertaler Ehrenmahl &#8211; Bild Nr. 201605084245<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Das Wahrzeichen des Tals ist das weithin sichtbare 15 Meter hohe <strong>Ehrenmahl<\/strong> an der Kreisstra\u00dfe zwischen <strong>Zell<\/strong> und <strong>M\u00f6lsheim<\/strong>.\u00a0Der\u00a0Monumentalbau wurde 1928 im gotisierenden Stil als\u00a0Kriegerdenkmal\u00a0zu Ehren der Gefallenen des\u00a0Ersten Weltkriegs an einem exponierten Aussichtspunkt errichtet.
