Aber es gibt auch einen <strong>Geysir<\/strong> in Deutschland. Im <strong>Unteren Mittelrheintal<\/strong> am Rande der <strong>Vulkaneifel<\/strong>, in welcher der letzte Vulkanausbruch erst ca. 13.000 Jahre zur\u00fcckliegt, brodelt es immer noch im Untergrund. Dabei dr\u00e4ngt aus der Tiefe CO2 hervor und erm\u00f6glicht in Verbindung mit tiefer gelegenen Grundwasser die Entstehung eines <strong>Kaltwasser-Geysirs<\/strong>. Dieser, hier auf der Halbinsel <strong>Namedyer-Werth<\/strong> bei <strong>Andernach<\/strong> ist mit seiner bis zu 60 Meter hohen Font\u00e4ne sogar der gr\u00f6\u00dfte seiner Art weltweit. Zun\u00e4chst geht es ins <strong>Geysir-Zentrum\u00a0<\/strong>in Andernach. Dort wird anschaulich \u00fcber die geophysikalischen Voraussetzungen f\u00fcr die Entstehung von Geysiren informiert. Auch l\u00e4sst sich vieles experimentell erfahren.
