Nirgendwo in Deutschland \u00a0gibt es so viele Burgen wie hier am Rhein, und kein Abschnitt eines Flusses erfreut sich solcher Beliebtheit wie dieser Abschnitt des Rheines, der durch das enge Tal zwischen <strong>Taunus<\/strong> und <strong>Hunsr\u00fcck<\/strong> f\u00fchrt. Der H\u00f6hepunkt der so genannten \u00a0<strong>Rheinromantik<\/strong> ist die Sage von der <strong>Loreley<\/strong>, und so wird auf den Ausflugsschiffen, welche den <strong>Loreleyfelsen<\/strong> passieren, das Loreleylied &#8222;Ich wei\u00df nicht, was soll es bedeuten&#8230;&#8220; gespielt, dessen Text\u00a0Heinrich Heine 1823 geschrieben hat.<\/p>\n<p>Der Abschnitt entlang des\u00a0Loreleyfelsens (im Bild oben links) bei <strong>Sankt Goarshausen<\/strong>\u00a0ist das Herzst\u00fcck des Oberen Mittelrheintals.
