Die 1862 vom Bildhauer Valentin Barth aus Zement geschaffene Brunnenfigur wurde 2012 wegen ihres schlechten Zustandes abgebaut und saniert. Heute\u00a0ziert sie wieder den Stadtpark, auch wenn sie schon lange nicht mehr, wie urspr\u00fcnglich vorgesehen, als Brunnenfigur dient. Immerhin steht sie hier im Stadtpark neben einem Brunnen.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Etwas au\u00dfergew\u00f6hnlich ist, das Triton, ein Meeresgott aus der griechischen Mythologie, hier ganz in menschlicher Gestalt dargestellt ist, stellten ihn doch viele K\u00fcnstler als ein Mischwesen aus Mensch und Fisch dar.
