Seitdem haben wohl s\u00e4mtliche Generationen von Kindern einmal darauf gesessen um fotografiert zu werden. Ist ja auch sch\u00f6n, dass dem einsamen Tier auf diese Weise immer wieder Gesellschaft geleistet wird.<\/p>\n<p>Die Skulptur wurde von dem 1885 in Mainz geborenen K\u00fcnstler (Steinmetz und Bildhauer) <strong>Philipp Harth<\/strong> in den Jahren 1964\/1965 geschaffen. Es waren vor allem Tierdarstellungen in Stein, Holz oder Bronze, mit denen er sich im Laufe seines k\u00fcnstlerischen Schaffens befasst hatte und die au\u00dfer in Mainz auch in Berlin, D\u00fcsseldorf, Essen, Hamburg und Mannheim ihren festen Platz haben. Philipp Harth starb 1968 in Bayrischzell.
