Hier gibt es viel \u00fcber den l\u00e4nder\u00fcbergreifenden<strong>Nationalpark Harz<\/strong>\u00a0zu erfahren, die Flora und Fauna, die Wetterkapriolen, die Geschichte der touristischen Infrastruktur des Brockens, aber auch Informationen \u00fcber die Zeit der deutschen Teilung, als der Brocken eine Festung war, werden geboten.<\/p>\n<p>Der erste Spatenstich f\u00fcr das Geb\u00e4ude erfolgte im Jahr 1983. Von 1986 bis 1989 wurde es von der Staatssicherheit der DDR genutzt. Nach der Wiedervereinigung wurde es 1991 als Brockenmuseum er\u00f6ffnet.
