Dieser \u00dcberblick aus luftiger H\u00f6he bietet sich vom 60 Meter hohen\u00a0<strong>Rathausturm<\/strong>, der zun\u00e4chst einmal erklommen werden will. Der Aufstieg ist schon ein Abenteuer, denn die Treppen werden immer enger und steiler, je h\u00f6her man kommt. Er geh\u00f6rt zum westlich gotischen Geb\u00e4udeteil des Rathauses, dessen Bau um 1250 begonnen und Ende des 14. Jahrhunderts fertiggestellt wurde. Der \u00f6stliche Teil fiel Anfang des 16. Jahrhunderts einem Brand zu Opfer. Im Jahr 1572 wurde die erhalten gebliebenen Geb\u00e4udeh\u00e4lfte um einen prachtvollen Neubau im Renaissancestil erg\u00e4nzt. Im Erdgeschoss stand fr\u00fcher die Stadtwaage.
